TERMS / FAROOQ YOGA
Clear before
we begin.
These terms set expectations for private and group yoga sessions offered by Farooq Yoga in Amsterdam.
Bookings and payment
A booking is confirmed when Farooq Yoga has accepted the agreed date, time, place and fee. Any studio-room supplement will be communicated before confirmation. The ten-class group pass is personal and valid for three months from the first attended class.
Cancellation
Please cancel or request a change at least 24 hours before the scheduled start. A session cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full. If Farooq Yoga must cancel, the session will be rescheduled or any payment for that session returned.
Private-session location
Private sessions can take place in the client’s home, normally within 20 minutes of Buitenveldert. When the home does not provide suitable space, a private studio room may be arranged in Buitenveldert for an additional agreed cost.
Equipment
Private clients provide their own yoga mat and any recommended props. Mats and props for the weekly group class are provided as part of the studio arrangement unless communicated otherwise.
Participation and wellbeing
Yoga instruction is educational and does not replace medical diagnosis, treatment or physiotherapy. Tell Farooq before the session about any relevant injury, pain, pregnancy, medical advice or change in health. You remain responsible for working within your comfort and stopping when something does not feel appropriate.
Private teaching
Sequences and guidance are adapted to the information available and the client’s response during the session. No specific physical, sporting or health outcome can be guaranteed.
Contact and applicable law
Questions can be sent to hello@farooq.yoga. These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
